Studying the Four Immeasurables

At the beginning of our practice, many of us regularly recite the Refuge Prayer and the following additional prayer:

THE FOUR IMMEASURABLES

May all beings find happiness and the cause of happiness,

may they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering,

may they not be separated from the perfect happiness that is free from suffering,

may they abide in great equanimity, free from attachment and aversion to those near and far.

We welcome you to join us for this course in which Trinlay Rinpoche will help us to understand more deeply and to contemplate the meaning of these four lines, which reflect love, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity, respectively.
